FAQ

Women's ministry

Do I have to be a member of Kenai Christian Church to be involved in women's ministry?
No. We welcome all women into our Women studies, events, and programming. Many women who participate with us are from other area churches or are regular attendees at KCC.

Do I have to register in advance for women's bible studies ?
Advanced Registration is not required, but we highly recommend it and appreciate it when you do. It helps us prepare and plan so that every woman has a great experience. Childcare does require advanced registration and spots for your children are not reserved until Bible study registration is completed.

Is child care provided for women's studies?
Yes, childcare is available on a limited basis for most studies.  KCC wants all of our children to be well cared for in safe environments. Therefore, our weekday childcare team requires registration at least one week in advance of the beginning of studies. For further questions about weekday childcare, please call 907-953-0101.

Are scholarships available for events or workbooks?
• Scholarships are available for all Women study workbooks and on a limited basis for special events. A scholarship can be requested by e-mailing leslie@kenaichristianchurch.org

I would like to serve in Women's Ministry. What do I need to do?
We are thrilled that you are interested in serving. We have a variety of opportunities available—some that require you to be a church member and some that do not.  Speak with a Women’s Ministry team member to help you with the best fit. To get connected with a Women’s team member, e-mail leslie@kenaichristianchurch.org

What mission opportunities exist for woman?
Women’s Ministry partners with our Missions team to offer a variety of local, national, and international mission trips as well as some on-going relational serving opportunities. We believe one of the ways God uses women to influence others for the Kingdom is through mission opportunities.
